What is the VDS system?
VDS is a simplified installation of doorman and video entry system, which does not use home wires.
The call is made by the transmission of a digital call code generated by the VDS amplifier.
This system is used in:
- In new construction, the installation can be done with the following types of cabling: CAT5 / 5-wire UTP / 3-wire + Coaxial (video). It allows to manage buildings of up to 199 houses, 2 accesses of entrance and central of concierge. Maximum distance from first access to last housing: 200 m.
- In replacement, it is possible to carry out the change from an analogue doorman to a video door entry system, taking advantage of the existing wiring. The capacity and distance of the system will depend on the wiring of the installation.
