C Band LNBs

LNBs for C Band Satellites

C-band LNBs are used in American and Asian satellites. We have some spare parts for this system.

The C band includes frequencies between 3.7 and 4.2 GHz and from 5.9 to 6.4 GHz. Since the diameter of the parabolic antenna must be proportional to the wavelength we want to receive, the C band requires antennas larger than those of the Ku band of Europe.

On the plus side, the C band is more reliable than the Ku band under adverse conditions, such as heavy rain or hail. But on the other hand, the C-band is more congested and more vulnerable to ground interference.
