The Fibaro smoke sensor is a universal optical Z-Wave smoke detector.

The fire alarm is signaled with a sound and the visual indicator flashes when sending Z-Wave alarm and control commands, sending notification to all connected smartphones.

The optical sensor detects smoke at an early stage of a fire, often before flames appear and the temperature begins to rise significantly. The photoelectric sensor is combined with the temperature sensor to achieve a much faster detection.
