Types of CCTV camera mounts
There are different types of brackets for surveillance cameras, therefore, we must take into account which of them is the right one to install next to our camera. In TDTProfesional, we have the following types:
- Base mount: For surveillance cameras they are a practical and versatile option for mounting cameras on horizontal surfaces.
- Fixed arm mount: These are the simplest and do not allow adjustment of the arm length. They are ideal when the right angle and distance for the camera has already been determined. They offer stable and secure mounting.
- Pole mounts: These mounts allow the camera to be mounted on poles or tall structures, which is useful for outdoor surveillance, such as parking areas or building perimeters.
- Wall mounts: These are the most common and are used to attach cameras to walls. They can be adjusted at different angles to obtain the best surveillance coverage.
Security Boxes
CCTV camera security boxes are housings or cabinets made to house security cameras in order to protect them from theft, vandalism, adverse weather conditions and accidental damage. These boxes are mainly intended to be installed on walls or other vertical surfaces.
