Type A: Telecommunications infrastructures in buildings or groups of buildings not defined in type F

Type A installations are those that, although they may have connection to the outside, are used to distribute telecommunications signals within buildings, including homes, as long as they are not classified within type F.

In other words, they cover those installations in buildings where high-speed technology such as fiber optics, coaxial cable or twisted pairs of category 6 or higher are not used.
