An LNB is a low noise device used in the reception of communications satellites. It is placed inside the satellite dish. C-band LNBs are used for DTH markets (which are satellite TV broadcasting services that are distributed to customers' homes for a periodic subscription).

It allows you to receive a satellite signal and distribute it to a single set-top box tuner. It has a low noise figure and low power consumption.
