If you have a basic Closed Circuit television, you have to know that you can expand your network with many accessories to give the best security to your system.
You can find different video surveillance accessories such as camera mounts, attachable external microphones for cameras, wristband monitors, PoE injectors, specific PoE switches for CCTV, balun, memory cards, hard drives for recorders, power supplies for cameras, etc.
- PoE injectors: Thanks to these small cables, you can power equipment through a data port, either UTP, FTP or STP. The devices are centrally connected without the need to connect each camera with its transformer.
- Baluns: They are adapters to use network cable instead of coaxial. They are used to connect the surveillance camera to a recorder.
- Memory Card: Find the memory card that best suits your needs.
- Hard drives for CCTV recorder: These hard drives are not like conventional ones, they are much more robust, since they are continuously reading and recording data. The higher the capacity, the longer the recording time you can store.
- Power supplies for cameras: Usually the power supplies for surveillance cameras are not included with the cameras, as they are sold separately.
