The Akuvox AK-A08k is a standalone access reader that combines RFID card reading (EM 125kHz and MF 13.56MHz cards), NFC and PIN, ensuring a superior level of security and flexibility to manage access without hassle.

This standalone device allows doors to be opened by contactless card or keyfob, NFC or PIN, as it has a keypad or even combining the different options for greater protection. It can operate autonomously or as a slave reader connected to a control system. It has temporary PIN codes to provide limited access.

Ideal for entrances to offices, professional offices, neighborhood communities or gyms looking for a practical but robust access.

Its sleek, compact design allows it to be installed on any surface without clashing with its surroundings, while its robust housing withstands everyday conditions. Thanks to its autonomous operation, it does not require a centralized system, which reduces costs and simplifies installation. With an IP65 degree of protection that allows us to install it in outdoor areas and an IK09 anti-vandalism degree, it resists much better to more conflictive environments.

This reader does not require any connection to a server or central, as it is autonomous and manages users locally. It allows a record of up to 20,000 user cards, 100,000 event records and has advanced features such as cloud management. From the Akuvox cloud you can configure users, access groups or schedules, among other options.

Where can you use it? In corporate buildings to control employee access, in residential gates to manage the entry of neighbors, or in small businesses that want to limit private areas to authorized personnel only. Connection is via TCP/IP connection and features POE, facilitating installation using a single cable for data and power.
