The Surmedia SMA205G indoor TV amplifier is designed to boost and distribute terrestrial television (DTT) signals inside the home. It is particularly useful when signal strength drops during distribution, helping to reduce common reception problems such as pixelation, picture freezing or missing channels. Its two outputs make it possible to distribute the amplified signal to two TV lines.
Operating in the VHF-UHF 88–694 MHz range, the SMA205G features one input, two outputs and a nominal gain of 25 dB. Its 15 dB adjustable gain control allows installers to adapt amplification to the actual signal level, helping prevent excessive amplification when a sufficiently strong TV signal is already available.
