Honeywell ECO1000BREL24L 24 VDC Latching Relay Base
The Honeywell ECO1000BREL24L standard relay base connects conventional ECO1000 series detectors to security systems, intrusion panels or alarm control equipment through a dry-contact output. It provides a professional solution when the receiving panel cannot support fire detectors directly.
When the detector enters alarm mode, the base activates its NO/NC changeover relay and keeps it latched. The relay can only be reset by momentarily interrupting the power supply from the control panel. It operates at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC, with a documented operating range of 15 to 31 VDC.
It is designed for ECO1000 detector heads such as the Honeywell ECO1003ABLA conventional optical smoke detector and the ECO1005ABLA conventional rate-of-rise heat detector. It is particularly useful for installers requiring an independent relay output in new installations, system extensions or compatible replacements.
The base includes mechanical protection against unauthorised detector removal and an integrated short-circuit contact or spring for checking wiring continuity before fitting the detector head. The detector and any external devices controlled by the relay are not included.
