Golmar N872/AL Surface-Mount Box with Integrated Rain Shield
The Golmar N872/AL surface-mount box allows an audio or video door entry panel to be installed directly on a façade without cutting out the recess required for a flush-mounted box. It is particularly useful on stone, concrete and other hard walls where chasing is difficult or undesirable.
It is specifically designed for Golmar Nexa Aluminium entrance panels with a 2-module-high × 1-module-wide configuration. Its 2 mm anodised aluminium construction provides corrosion resistance, while the integrated rain shield protects the panel from direct rainfall and reduces sunlight reflections.
Measuring 134 mm wide, 259 mm high and between 58 and 80 mm deep, it requires the Golmar N6002/AL mounting kit for assembly. It is an accessory for new installations and surface-mounted refurbishment projects, rather than an electronic spare part.
The N872/AL provides installers with a clean and robust solution whenever recessing a Nexa Aluminium entrance panel is impractical, combining the mounting enclosure and protective rain shield in a single component.
