The Ajax CombiProtect Jeweller Black is a wireless indoor detector that combines motion detection and acoustic glass break detection in a single device. Its passive infrared PIR sensor provides a detection range of up to 12 metres, with an 88.5° horizontal detection angle, SmartDetect algorithm, temperature compensation and pet immunity for animals weighing up to 20 kg and measuring up to 50 cm in height. This protection is complemented by an electret microphone capable of detecting glass breakage at distances of up to 9 metres with a 180° detection angle, using the DualTone two-factor algorithm to verify glass break events and minimise false alarms.

Jeweller wireless technology provides encrypted two-way communication with the Ajax hub and a radio range of up to 1,200 metres in open space.
