The Ajax DoubleButton AJ-DOUBLEBUTTON-W is a wireless emergency button designed to send an immediate alarm in dangerous situations, such as a robbery in progress or a medical emergency. Once activated, the emergency signal is transmitted to the Ajax hub, allowing users and, when the system is connected accordingly, an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to be notified.

Its key feature is the use of two rigid buttons separated by a plastic divider. The alarm is triggered by pressing both buttons simultaneously, helping prevent false alarms if only one button is accidentally pressed while carrying the device in a pocket or bag. Ajax also supports alarm confirmation through two consecutive activations: one short and one long press, in either sequence.

DoubleButton operates with the Ajax Jeweller wireless communication technology, providing encrypted data transmission, frequency hopping and a radio communication range of up to 1,300 metres in open space. Its EN 50131 Grade 2 compliance makes it particularly suitable for professional installers working on shops, offices and security projects requiring a reliable panic button. It can be integrated with a compatible Ajax alarm hub and its wireless coverage can be extended with an Ajax wireless range extender.
