The Hikvision DS-3WF0EC-2NT replaces long Ethernet cable runs with a stable wireless link for video and data transmission. It is particularly suitable for IP cameras installed in lifts, where it avoids the need for an expensive travelling network cable between the lift car and the building's fixed network infrastructure.

This 2.4 GHz wireless bridge supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 2×2 MIMO technology and an air-interface transmission rate of up to 300 Mbps. Its integrated 7 dBi antennas provide wireless transmission distances of up to 500 metres, with Hikvision specifying a PTP throughput of 30 Mbps at 0.5 km in HT40 mode.

The DS-3WF0EC-2NT is supplied as a pair and features 2 × 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports, 12–24 VDC passive PoE and IP55 protection. It is particularly useful for installers working with IP and WiFi cameras who need to connect a camera to the network without installing a continuous Ethernet cable. It is suitable for both new installations and upgrades to existing wired links; it is not exclusively a replacement part.
