User Access Point for FTTH Fiber Optic networks with 2 SC/APC connectors and 2-fiber 25-meter singlemode cable preconnected with Halogen-free indoor cover for down to the connection point.
This UAP with 25 meter cable LSZH preconnected greatly facilitates the FTTH fiber installation in an ICT by saving the mounting of the connectors on each equipment. It also includes the necessary screws for wall mouting.
The main purpose of this pre-connectorized PAU is to eliminate the need for a fusion splicer in ICT installations (Common Telecommunications Infrastructure) in residential or office buildings. The installer checks that the cable run from the dwelling’s RTR to the RITI or RITU (indoor telecommunications equipment room) is less than 25 metres, then routes the cable from the RTR to the telecommunications room, leaving sufficient spare cable in the secondary distribution boxes and connecting it directly at the main distribution point without fusion splicing. These PAUs improve project profitability by making fibre-optic installation in an ICT system faster and more efficient.
