Ajax CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller for Outdoor Perimeter Protection

The Ajax CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller creates a narrow detection barrier designed to protect façades, doors, windows, passageways and other outdoor perimeter areas. Its curtain-type coverage monitors access to the property without unnecessarily extending detection into adjacent areas, making it an advanced solution for Ajax alarm systems.

Designed for installation at a height of 2 to 4 metres, it provides a detection range of up to 15 m and combines two PIR sensors with a narrow 7° horizontal detection angle and a K-band microwave sensor. Dual motion detection, early alarm detection and the SmartDetect algorithm help accurately identify intrusions while reducing false alarms. It is particularly suitable for professional installers who need to protect long, narrow perimeter areas from an elevated mounting position.

The integrated camera provides HDR photo verification, IR illumination and images with a resolution of up to 640 × 480 pixels. PhOD enables authorised users to request photos on demand, while the Ajax system supports additional photo verification scenarios. For comprehensive perimeter security, it can be combined with other Ajax outdoor detectors to adapt detection coverage to different areas of the property.

The CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller also features an anti-masking system, tamper alarm and magnetometer, and uses Jeweller and Wings wireless communication technologies. It is intended for new installations or extensions of compatible Ajax systems and is not a replacement part. An excellent solution when curtain-type perimeter detection, high mounting and visual event verification are required in a single device.
