Master Housing Gateway for Comelit VIP System

Comelit COM1456 it's a housing master gateway designed for installations Comelit VIP system , which allows managing IP audio and video communications without the need to have a physical master video intercom in the home.

It acts as a gateway between the VIP system upright column and the home network, integrating one Ethernet port dedicated to the VIP system and four HOME ports , of which one is fixed PoE , two are configurable PoE and one is Ethernet without PoE . This architecture allows you to power and connect IP devices in the home in a flexible and secure way.

The COM1456 supports up to 15 slave devices per home (mobile apps, SIP/GSM phones or monitors configured as slave) and is easily mounted on DIN rail , being an ideal solution for single-family homes and advanced residential projects.

Practical Applications of the Comelit Gateway

1. Housing without physical indoor monitor
In a home where you want to do without video intercom monitors, the COM1456 acts as VIP system master , allowing you to answer calls from your mobile or tablet using the Comelit app, or redirect them to SIP or GSM phones.

2. Housing with IP devices and future expansion
In installations where there are no monitors initially, but a future expansion is planned, the COM1456 allows you to add later up to 15 slave devices , including VIP monitors configured as slave, without modifying the main infrastructure.
