DTT-SAT intermediate socket of 5dB

Do you have a terrestrial and satellite signal on the same cable and do you want to separate the signal? The TI-0502 separator is a socket that is used in signal distributions from 5 to 2400 MHz.

This shot is intermediate, so its installation is done in cascade. That is, the antenna cable reaches the socket and another cable comes out of the same outlet until the next outlet.

They also incorporate the frequency range for the return line.

The intermediate socket TI-0502 is a separate terrestrial and satellite signal television socket with losses of 5 dB.

What technical characteristics does the intermediate tap TI-0502 have?

  • Step losses (db) 950 - 2400 MHz: 2
  • Bypass losses (dB) 5 - 860 MHz: 5 + - 1,5.
  • Bypass losses (dB) 950 - 2400 MHz: 5 + - 2,5.
  • Isolation between outputs:> 25 dB

What is the TI-0502 tap used for?

An intermediate separating outlet, such as the TI-0502 socket from Tecatel, is used in a television installation. This shot is the one that we must place in a cascade installation since, being a step, it acts as a bridge until the next shot.

It is in addition to being an intermediate separator, which means that if you get a cable with the TDT-SAT signals mixed in a single coaxial, this outlet is responsible for separating it into two different terminals.
