Urmet 1072/17 Call Module with Directory

The Urmet 1072/17 is a digital call module for Sinthesi S2 entrance panels, designed to centralize communication and access control in buildings with a large number of users. It replaces traditional multi-button entrance panels with a cleaner and more practical digital calling system, making it especially suitable for apartment blocks, office buildings and commercial premises.

It operates within the Urmet Bibus system and can be used in door entry and video door entry installations, including Bibus VOP configurations when combined with the corresponding video components. The manufacturer also specifies compatibility with both first- and second-edition Bibus systems, making it particularly useful for refurbishment and maintenance of existing installations. To complete a compatible installation, it can be combined with an Urmet Bibus telephone, designed to receive calls inside the property.

It features a backlit 2-line, 16-character LCD display, integrated audio unit with loudspeaker and microphone, numeric keypad and function keys. Users can be called either by searching for their name in the directory or by entering their numeric code directly. The unit supports up to 250 names with individual door-opening codes and up to 8 generic access codes, making it easier to manage access in medium- and large-scale residential or commercial installations.

The module can also control the electric lock directly and includes inputs for an internal door-release push button, door-open contact and postman key. Thanks to its configuration options, it is particularly suitable as a replacement or upgrade for existing Bibus installations, while it can also be used in new compatible projects. In Bibus systems that require power and bus management, it can be integrated with components such as the Urmet Bibus coupler and transformer.
