Omada 10GBase-LR SFP+ LC Transceiver Module

The TP-Link TL-SM5110-LR is a professional SFP+ transceiver designed to connect network devices over single-mode fiber, providing 10 Gbps full-duplex Ethernet links over distances of up to 10 km. It is an ideal solution for increasing core network bandwidth and connecting main switches located over long distances.

Operating under the 10GBASE-LR standard at a wavelength of 1310 nm, it uses 9/125 µm single-mode fiber and an LC Duplex connection. It is particularly suitable for installers connecting buildings, industrial facilities, data centers or remote sites through high-capacity backbone links, and can be combined with single-mode fiber optic cables to complete the optical infrastructure.

The module supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) and SFP+ MSA and features a hot-swappable design, allowing it to be inserted or removed from a compatible port without powering down the switch. For professional 10 Gigabit deployments, it can be installed directly into compatible network switches with SFP+ ports, simplifying network expansion and maintenance.

Designed primarily for new installations, network expansions and fiber infrastructure upgrades, it can also be used to replace a technically compatible transceiver.
