The Openetics EK05618 is designed to centralize, organize and manage structured cabling for voice, data and video networks inside a standard 19-inch rack cabinet. Its 24 RJ45 ports provide a clear distribution point for permanent cabling and allow easy connection to network equipment using patch cords, simplifying identification, maintenance and future upgrades.

This 24-port Cat. 6A UTP patch panel occupies only 1U and supports LAN applications including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T, with performance up to 500 MHz. For connections between the patch panel and the network switch, the installation can be completed with a Cat. 6A UTP patch cord, helping maintain the performance required in professional data networks.

The rear termination accepts 22 to 26 AWG conductors, supports 110 or Krone termination tools, and includes T568-A and T568-B colour coding. It also features a removable rear cable support bar for securing and organizing incoming cables, together with removable front modules that make maintenance easier. Its unshielded UTP design is intended for installations where severe electromagnetic interference does not require additional metallic shielding.

Thanks to its compact format and ability to concentrate 24 network connections in just 1U, it is particularly suitable for installers working on offices, retail premises, educational facilities or technical rooms. It can be used in new installations, network expansions or compatible replacements, and combined with a 19-inch rack cable management panel to keep front patch cords neatly routed and easier to manage.
