The Comelit UT8090 is a complete Ultra series video entrance panel combining video door entry, a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen and access control in a single flush-mounted unit. Its intuitive graphical interface allows visitors to search for users, make calls using virtual buttons or enter user codes directly from the on-screen numeric keypad. Discover more professional solutions in our range of Comelit video door entry systems.
Designed specifically for the Comelit IP (ViP) system, the UT8090 features a colour camera with an exceptionally wide 160° horizontal and 100° vertical viewing angle, an omnidirectional digital MEMS microphone and dual speakers with Full-Duplex technology and echo cancellation. It is particularly suitable for apartment buildings, offices and multi-user projects where a digital directory simplifies visitor management.
Access control is integrated directly into the entrance panel, with Mifare Classic RFID proximity reader, Bluetooth and Wiegand connectivity, plus support for door-opening codes. Once installed, its IP65 protection and IK08 impact resistance make it suitable for demanding outdoor entrances. Power can be supplied via IEEE 802.3af PoE, Comelit PoE or an external power supply.
This is a complete solution for new Comelit ViP installations or compatible system extensions, rather than a simple replacement part. It includes the UT8020 audio/video module, UT9270 touchscreen module, UT9163 frame and 3110/3 flush-mounted box.

Practical applications of Comelit UT8090 Ultra ViP Complete Video Door Entry Panel
Example 1. Main entrance for a residential building with many users:
In a multi-apartment residential building, the Comelit UT8090 can replace a large number of conventional physical call buttons with a digital directory displayed on the 5-inch touchscreen. Visitors can search for residents or enter their code directly, while authorised users can gain access with RFID credentials. The wide-angle camera also improves visitor visibility at the entrance.
Example 2. Office building with video entry and access control:
In a commercial building using the Comelit ViP platform, the UT8090 can manage both visitor calls and authorised staff access from the same entrance point. Its combination of RFID, Bluetooth and Wiegand connectivity is particularly useful for projects where video door entry and access control need to operate together, while the IP65 and IK08 ratings provide added protection for exposed outdoor entrances.
