The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 is the main module for a professional modular IP video intercom entrance panel, acting as an intelligent outdoor door station for homes, offices and residential buildings. It combines camera, audio and door release control in a compact unit designed for installations requiring clear communication, access control and simplified power supply.

This module works within the Hikvision KD Series modular IP video intercom system and is suitable for new installations, system expansions or replacement of the compatible main module in an existing modular panel. It can be powered through standard PoE over the network cable or by 12 VDC, which is especially practical for installers working with IP infrastructure or prepared communication cabinets. It can be combined with IP video intercom kits depending on the project layout.

The 2 MP fisheye camera provides a wide 146° horizontal viewing angle, helping identify visitors and monitor the entrance area more effectively. It also includes built-in speaker and microphone with noise cancellation, allowing direct conversation with the visitor from compatible indoor monitors or from the system management platform. For modular mounting projects, it can be installed with accessories such as the Hikvision surface mount box.
