HIKVISION 2 MP POE IP VIDEO INTERCOM MODULE FOR MODULAR PANELS
Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 2 MP PoE IP Video Intercom Main Module
The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 is the main module for a professional modular IP video intercom door station, designed as an intelligent entrance unit for homes, offices and residential buildings. It integrates camera, audio and door release control into a compact unit, making it suitable for installations requiring clear communication, access control and simplified power supply.
This module operates within the Hikvision KD Series modular IP video intercom system and can be used for new installations, system expansions or replacement of the main module in a compatible door station. It can be powered via standard PoE over the network cable or 12 VDC, providing installers with greater flexibility when working with existing IP infrastructure or communications cabinets.
The 2 MP fisheye camera provides a wide 146° horizontal viewing angle, making it easier to identify visitors and monitor the area around the entrance. It also features an integrated speaker and microphone with noise cancellation, enabling direct two-way communication with visitors through compatible indoor monitors or the system management platform. For modular installations, it can be combined with accessories such as the Hikvision surface-mount box.
A particularly useful feature of the DS-KD8003-IME1 is its integration within Hikvision's modular ecosystem, as it is compatible with Hikvision KD Series accessories, allowing installers to configure the door station according to the specific requirements of each project. You can find the available Hikvision KD Series accessories to complete the installation.
The DS-KD8003-IME1 provides a solid foundation for Hikvision IP video intercom installations where a main module with camera, call function, two-way audio, PoE power supply and door release control is required in a single device. If you prefer an installation based on 2-wire technology, you can also purchase the Hikvision DS-KD7003EY-IME2/ALUMINUM 2-wire video intercom, an alternative for projects using this type of wiring infrastructure.
