The Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 turns conventional switches, lights, and other circuits into smart devices without changing their usual operation. Measuring just 29 × 34 × 16 mm, its compact design makes it easy to install discreetly behind a wall switch while adding remote control, automation, and operation via smartphone or voice assistants.

This 1-channel Wi-Fi smart relay features a normally open, potential-free dry contact, a key advantage when controlling circuits that are electrically independent from the module's own power supply. It can switch up to 8 A at 240 V AC and 5 A at 30 V DC, making it particularly useful for lighting, compatible automation systems, garage doors, or boiler control inputs.

It operates via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, with no hub required for standard Wi-Fi operation. The physical wall switch remains fully functional while smart control is added, and the relay is compatible with Alexa and automation platforms such as Home Assistant.
