Fermax MC740 G2 Magnetic Contact
It is a magnetic contact to be placed on a door in order to know if the door is open or closed. The contact works by magnetization, so when the door is closed, the two pieces will face each other, sliding a plate that will make the two wires come into contact. When the door is open, the wires will not have contact and therefore there will be no continuity between them.
It can be connected in the same way to the door sensor input of an access control system.
This type of magnetic sensor is prepared to be installed on the surface, between the door and the frame. It is recommended that the door be made of wood, not steel.
