TP-Link 5-Port 1Gb Switch with 1 PoE++ IN Port, 4 PoE+ OUT Ports and 66W PoE Budget
5-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch with PoE++ Input and 4 PoE+ Outputs
The TP-Link TL-SG1005P-PD lets you extend a Gigabit network and distribute PoE power in locations where no nearby electrical outlet is available. Unlike a conventional switch, it receives its own power directly through the Ethernet cable, making it particularly useful for extending video surveillance systems, access points and other IP devices.
It features 5 Gigabit RJ45 ports: one PoE input port supporting IEEE 802.3af/at/bt and four PoE/PoE+ output ports supporting IEEE 802.3af/at. With a 90 W 802.3bt Type 4 input, it can provide up to a 66 W PoE power budget, distributing data and power from a single network point. It can be combined with other PoE switches to adapt the network infrastructure to the requirements of each project.
Extend Mode provides transmission distances of up to 250 metres on ports 1 and 2, reducing their speed to 10 Mbps, while PoE Auto Recovery monitors devices connected to ports 1-4 and automatically reboots an unresponsive PoE device. These features make it particularly suitable for installers working on IP video surveillance systems and projects involving remote cameras or equipment installed in difficult-to-access locations. This is an unmanaged, Plug & Play, fanless switch with a durable metal enclosure, suitable for desktop or wall mounting. Designed for Ethernet networks with PoE power, it is primarily intended for new installations and network expansions rather than as a specific replacement part. Overall, the TL-SG1005P-PD converts a single PoE-powered network connection into up to four PoE output connections without requiring an AC/DC power supply next to the switch.
