Nice MH5H-TD dual-control thermostat for 0-10 V fan coils

The Nice MH5H-TD provides integrated climate control by managing room temperature, fan speed and hydraulic valves from a single device. Its touch display offers convenient local adjustment while showing the current indoor temperature and relative humidity.

Designed for heating and cooling systems with a DC fan coil controlled through a 0-10 V signal, it supports three configurable voltage levels for low, medium and high fan speeds. Automatic stepped regulation adjusts the fan according to the difference between the measured temperature and setpoint. It is suitable for new installations or as a replacement in systems compatible with its outputs.

Z-Wave 800 Series communication enables integration with Z-Wave solutions and compatible controllers such as Yubii Home or Fibaro Home Center. Installers can create schedules, scenes and climate control automations, using humidity readings to support condensation monitoring and prevention strategies.

With dual valve outputs, heating, cooling and ventilation modes, non-volatile memory and configurable frost protection, the Nice MH5H-TD offers comprehensive control for hydraulic HVAC installations equipped with 0-10 V ventilation.

Example 1: Fan Coil Climate Control in a Home with Smart Automation

A system integrator can install the Nice MH5H-TD in a room equipped with a DC motor fan coil and separate hydraulic valves for heating and cooling. The thermostat controls the valves and automatically selects one of the three configured 0-10 V voltage levels for the fan according to the difference between the measured temperature and the selected setpoint. When integrated into a Z-Wave network, the climate control system can be included in schedules and scenes managed from a compatible controller.

Example 2: Replacing a Thermostat in an Installation Compatible with 0-10 V Control

During a refurbishment, the installer can use the Nice MH5H-TD to upgrade the control of a hydraulic system whose fan accepts a 0-10 V signal and whose valves are compatible with the thermostat outputs.
