Example 1. Home-office automation for remote working:

A professional works from home between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM in a dedicated office. During these hours, the Nice HEAT-CONTROL valve automatically regulates the radiator to maintain a target temperature of 21°C, using the Nice TEMP-CONTROL sensor placed on the desk as the room-temperature reference. At the same time, the valves in the living room and bedrooms can be programmed to reduce their target temperature to 17°C, avoiding unnecessary heating in unoccupied rooms. Once the working day ends, an automation scene can reverse the configuration and warm the living room before the evening.

Example 2. Smart temperature control in a child’s bedroom and night mode:

In a baby’s bedroom, the heating can be programmed to maintain a stable temperature of 20°C throughout the night. During bath time, the target temperature can be increased manually by rotating the valve head, after which a scheduled scene can restore the sleeping temperature automatically. During the night, a Nice TEMP-CONTROL wireless sensor positioned near the crib can provide a more representative room-temperature reading than the sensor next to the radiator.
