Surmedia SMC200 Cu/Cu coaxial cable for terrestrial and satellite TV, 100 metres
The Surmedia SMC200 is a 75-ohm coaxial cable for distributing digital terrestrial television (DTT) and satellite TV signals. Supplied on a 100-metre reel, it is designed for indoor telecommunications installations.
Its 1.13 mm solid copper inner conductor and copper braided screen provide better conductivity and durability than economical copper-clad aluminium cables. It features 77% braid coverage, double shielding and a shielding efficiency of over 90 dB.
It is suitable for connecting the main antenna, headend or amplifiers to splitters and television outlets. Its shielding helps reduce interference from 4G and 5G mobile networks (LTE). It is not a dedicated spare part: it can be used in new installations or to replace cabling affected by excessive signal loss or insufficient shielding, using compatible coaxial connectors.
