Surmedia SMK6006 CAT6 Indoor White CCA LSZH Dca UTP Cable 305 m
The Surmedia SMK6006 is a CAT6 UTP cable designed for Ethernet networks and IP video surveillance systems in homes, offices and retail premises. It is supplied in a 305-metre reel-in-box.
It consists of four twisted pairs with solid CCA conductors, made from copper-clad aluminium. It supports declared data rates of up to 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps) and offers an optimum declared performance of up to 350 MHz.
Its white LSZH outer sheath is halogen-free and produces low levels of smoke, with a CPR Dca reaction-to-fire classification. It is intended for new indoor installations and network extensions, not as a spare part, and can be terminated using compatible CAT6 RJ45 connectors.
The CCA conductor reduces weight and cost but requires careful stripping, bending and crimping. It is not suitable for outdoor use and does not replace the solid-copper cable required for regulated Spanish ICT twisted-pair networks.
