Hikvision DS-KD-ACW1 Surface-Mount Box for 1 Module
The Hikvision DS-KD-ACW1 allows a single modular door station unit to be installed directly on the wall without cutting out the recess required for a flush-mounted box. Its compact format is designed exclusively for one-module configurations.
It can house a compatible unit such as the Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 IP video intercom main module. It is a mechanical accessory for new installations, extensions or mounting adaptations, rather than an electronic replacement part.
The frame and front panel are manufactured from aviation-grade aluminium with a grey finish. The mounting box measures 117 × 107 × 32.7 mm and operates from -40 °C to +55 °C, with a relative humidity range of 10% to 95%, non-condensing.
The DS-KD-ACW1 is designed for installers who need to mount one component from the Hikvision KD modular door station rangewithout creating a flush-mounting recess. The electronic module is not included.

Example 1: installing a modular door station without a flush-mounted box
On a property with a finished wall or façade, the installer can use the DS-KD-ACW1 to mount a compatible main door station module directly onto the surface. This avoids cutting out the larger recess required for a flush-mounted box while providing mechanical integration with the Hikvision modular system. Suitable fixings and the necessary cable entry must still be prepared.
Example 2: surface mounting a single expansion module
During a refurbishment or system extension, a compatible keypad, card reader or auxiliary module may need to be installed separately. The Hikvision DS-KD-ACW1 provides a dedicated enclosure for one compatible module without using a larger two- or three-module frame. Module compatibility must be checked before installation.
