Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (CO) Jeweller White with Built-in Siren

The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB wireless CO detector provides early warning of dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations. This invisible, odourless and highly toxic gas can be caused by faults in boilers, heaters, fireplaces or gas cookers. Its built-in siren delivers an audible alert of up to 85 dB to help occupants respond quickly.

Its chemical sensor evaluates both CO concentration and exposure time according to the alarm criteria established by EN 50291-1:2018. It can operate independently or form part of an Ajax alarm system using the bidirectional Jeweller protocol, with a range of up to 1,700 metres in open space. When connected to a compatible hub, it also provides app notifications and remote status monitoring.

The SmartBracket mounting panel and QR code pairing streamline installation and mobile configuration. Its two sealed, non-replaceable lithium batteries provide up to 10 years of operation when Battery Life Optimisation is enabled. This model detects carbon monoxide only, not smoke or temperature; it is intended for indoor use and the complete detector must be replaced when its sealed batteries are depleted.
