The Ajax Black Wireless CO Detector with Built-in Siren provides early warning against carbon monoxide, an invisible, odourless and highly toxic gas that can be produced by faulty boilers, heaters, fireplaces or gas cookers.
Its chemical sensor monitors both CO concentration and accumulated exposure. When dangerous levels are reached, the detector activates its built-in 85 dB siren and LED indication, even when operating autonomously without an Ajax hub.
Jeweller communication allows the detector to be integrated into a professional Ajax alarm system, enabling remote notifications and quick mobile configuration by scanning its QR code. It is intended for new indoor installations or system expansions and is not a replacement part.
Its two integrated, non-replaceable lithium batteries provide up to 10 years of battery life, reducing maintenance requirements. It complies with EN 50291-1:2018; installers should note that this model detects carbon monoxide only and does not detect smoke or temperature.
