Fagor SCS 8 Splitter for Terrestrial TV and Satellite Networks

The Fagor 2098 SCS 8 splitter is designed to divide a single coaxial signal and distribute it evenly across 8 independent lines. It is particularly suitable for large homes, apartment buildings and professional installations with multiple TV outlets where stable and balanced signal distribution is required.

With its wide 5 to 2400 MHz frequency range, it can operate in MATV networks with DTT (COFDM) and DAB signals, as well as SAT-IF DVB-S/S2 (QPSK and 8PSK) satellite distribution systems. This makes it a practical solution for installations combining terrestrial and satellite TV signals. All 8 outputs support DC/AC power pass towards the input up to 24 V/500 mA, directionally coupled by diodes. This feature enables power to be supplied to active equipment located upstream in compatible satellite installations. Practical Applications of the Fagor 8-Way DTT and SAT Splitter

Example 1. Signal distribution in a large residential property:

In a large detached house with several television points, the Fagor SCS 8 can divide one incoming coaxial feed into eight separate branches. Its 5–2400 MHz bandwidth allows the same distribution network to carry terrestrial DTT and satellite IF signals. This makes it especially useful when several rooms require access to television services from a central distribution point. In a MATV or SAT-IF distribution system, the Fagor 2098 can be installed where eight independent coaxial branches need to be supplied from a common input.
