The Surmedia SMB300 power supply is a compact solution for terrestrial television installations, designed to power masthead amplifiers and TDT/DTT preamplifiers through the coaxial cable itself. It is a practical choice for completing a new installation or replacing the power supply in an existing antenna amplification system.
The SMB300 converts the 195–240 Vac mains supply into 24 Vdc, delivering a maximum current of 100 mA. DC power is injected into the coaxial cable and sent to the amplifier installed close to the TV antenna, eliminating the need for a separate mains connection next to the mast. This model is designed exclusively for indoor installation.
It features 2 TV outputs with F-type connectors, allowing the amplified television signal to be distributed directly to two TVs or two separate branches without requiring an additional splitter. This makes the Surmedia SMB300 particularly suitable for homes and small DTT antenna installations using a compatible 24 Vdc masthead amplifier, such as the Surmedia SMB335.
