Dahua WizSense 16-Channel IP NVR Supporting up to 16 MP

The Dahua NVR4216-EI Network Video Recorder can simultaneously manage and record up to 16 IP cameras with resolutions up to 16 MP. It is designed for professional video surveillance systems in shops, offices, residential buildings, warehouses and other sites requiring detailed images, intelligent video analytics and expandable storage.

It provides 256 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth, reduced to 180 Mbps when AI functions are enabled. It features 4K HDMI and VGA video outputs, Gigabit Ethernet and ONVIF compatibility. As it does not include built-in PoE ports, cameras must be connected and powered using an external PoE switch for video surveillance.

Its WizSense analytics can be processed directly by the recorder, including face detection and recognition on 1 channel, perimeter protection on 2 channels and SMD Plus on 4 channels, with human and vehicle classification to reduce false alarms. Camera-based intelligent functions require compatible IP models, such as Dahua WizSense cameras. It is suitable for new installations, system expansions or NVR upgrades and is not an internal replacement part.

The recorder supports 2 SATA hard drives with capacities of up to 16 TB each, sold separately, allowing installers to adapt video retention time to the requirements of each project. It can be combined with an 8 TB WD Purple surveillance hard drive, providing a complete solution for systems requiring high-resolution recording, facial recognition, perimeter protection and extensive storage capacity.
