The Hikvision HWN-4108MH-8P(E) is a compact black NVR recorder for IP video surveillance installations that need to power up to 8 cameras directly via PoE. It is a very practical solution for large homes, shops, offices and small professional installations where good recording quality, easy configuration and a reliable device within the HiWatch range are required.

This NVR works in IP security systems and supports cameras up to 8 MP, with H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression to optimise storage without compromising sharp image quality. Its decoding capacity allows installations with high-resolution cameras to be managed while maintaining smooth viewing in NVR recorder projects.

The integrated PoE power supply simplifies cabling by carrying data and power through the same network cable, centralising the installation from the recorder itself. Compared with the HWN-4104MH-4P(E) model, this version allows the installation to be expanded up to 8 PoE IP cameras, offers 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth and includes Motion Detection 2.0 with human/vehicle analysis on 4 channels. This means that the recorder can apply intelligent classification on up to 4 channels, distinguishing events associated with people or vehicles from generic movement in the scene.

This intelligent detection helps to reduce false alarms caused by changes in light, shadows, rain, vegetation, reflections or other irrelevant movement. However, to ensure the correct operation of human/vehicle classification, it is recommended to use IP cameras compatible with this technology, preferably Hikvision or models that support the functions required by the recorder. It should not be stated that it works with any IP camera, as these advanced functions may depend on camera compatibility, configuration and firmware version.

Thanks to these features, it is especially suitable for buildings, offices, residential communities, warehouses or larger installations where more cameras need to be connected while maintaining high recording performance.
