Hikvision 2-Wire HD Video Intercom Kit with 7-Inch WiFi Monitor

The Hikvision DS-KIS704EY/ALUMINUM includes the door station, touchscreen monitor and distributor required to manage visitors, control access and unlock the door remotely. It is a complete solution for detached houses, villas and residential properties requiring HD video and mobile connectivity.

The DS-KD7003EY-IME2/Aluminum outdoor station features a 2 MP camera, WDR, infrared illumination and a 133° horizontal field of view. Its IP65 protection against dust and water and IK08 impact resistance make it suitable for exposed outdoor entrances. The Hikvision 2-wire video intercom system carries power, audio and video over the same pair of wires.

The DS-KH7300EY-WTE2/White indoor station provides a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, two-way audio and 2.4 GHz WiFi connectivity. Through Hik-Connect, users can receive calls, speak to visitors and unlock the door from a smartphone. It is intended for new installations and renovation projects where the existing wiring has been checked by the installer; it is not a universal replacement.

This 2-wire video intercom kit can simplify the upgrade of an older door-entry system without necessarily replacing all existing conduits. Its main limitation is that remote functions require an Internet connection, while the monitor’s WiFi does not replace the physical 2-wire bus connecting the door station, distributor and indoor monitor.

Extended information about the Hikvision 2-Wire HD Video Intercom Kit with 2 MP Door Station, 7-Inch Touchscreen Indoor Monitor and 2-Wire Distributor

Practical applications of the Hikvision 2-Wire HD Video Intercom Kit with 2 MP Door Station, 7-Inch Touchscreen Indoor Monitor and 2-Wire Distributor

Example 1. Upgrading an old door-entry phone in a detached house

An installer upgrading the entrance of a detached house can check the continuity, cross-section and condition of the existing pair of wires and reuse it when suitable. The Hikvision 2-Wire HD system connects the door station, distributor and indoor monitor without necessarily installing new conduits, while adding HD video, two-way audio and remote door release.

Example 2. Managing the main entrance of a villa locally and remotely

For an outdoor entrance exposed to backlighting, rain or low-light conditions, the installer can use the aluminium door station with WDR, infrared illumination and IP65 and IK08 protection. Residents can answer calls on the 7-inch monitor or through Hik-Connect and remotely unlock the door when managing a visitor away from home.
