MultiTransmitter Jeweller for integrating third-party wired detectors into the Ajax system
The Ajax MultiTransmitter Jeweller in black allows you to modernise an existing wired alarm system while continuing to use detectors that are still working correctly. Instead of replacing sensors and rewiring the installation, this integration module connects them to the Ajax ecosystem so they can be managed through an Ajax alarm hub.
It features 18 zones for third-party wired devices and supports NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL connection types with firmware 2.13.0 or later. Connected devices can generate different event types, while the module supports up to 400 metres of cable between the detectors and MultiTransmitter.
Communication with the hub uses the bidirectional Jeweller wireless protocol, with encryption, authentication and a range of up to 2,000 metres in line of sight. It is particularly suitable for installers upgrading a wired alarm while retaining existing sensors and incorporating them into automation scenarios within an Ajax alarm system. It can be used both to upgrade existing installations and to create new hybrid installations; it is not simply a replacement part.
In short, the Ajax MultiTransmitter gives a second life to a traditional wired alarm system, avoiding the unnecessary replacement of detectors that still work correctly while combining the existing infrastructure with the control, monitoring and automation capabilities of the Ajax system.
