UAP for FTTH fiber networks that greatly facilitates the installation in ICT by saving having to mount the connectors of each user terminal box. The UAP includes the screws for its fixation in the user's registry.
The main purpose of this pre-connectorized PAU is to eliminate the need for a fusion splicer in ICT installations (Common Telecommunications Infrastructure) in residential or office buildings. The installer checks that the cable run from the dwelling’s RTR to the RITI or RITU (indoor telecommunications equipment room) is less than 35 metres, then routes the cable from the RTR to the telecommunications room, leaving sufficient spare cable in the secondary distribution boxes and connecting it directly at the main distribution point without fusion splicing. These PAUs improve project profitability by making fibre-optic installation in an ICT system faster and more efficient.
