Ajax ReX 2 NFA2P Grade 2 White Radio Signal Range Extender

The Ajax ReX 2 AJ-REX2-W-NF extends the communication range of the Ajax security system by increasing the radio signal coverage between connected devices and the Hub. It is particularly suitable for large homes, multi-storey buildings, industrial warehouses and detached areas where greater coverage is required while maintaining secure and stable communication.

This range extender operates within the Ajax wireless security system using Jeweller and Wings protocols, extending both alarm communications and image transmission from compatible detectors. This makes it suitable for installations with Ajax MotionCam detectors, maintaining photo verification even in areas located further away from the central control panel.

The ReX 2 NFA2P Grade 2 is particularly well suited to professional installers working on large-scale security projects where extended coverage and protection against sabotage and radio interference are required. It features tamper protection against enclosure opening, anti-jamming mechanisms and encrypted communications. Configuration through the Ajax app and QR code scanning also helps simplify and speed up commissioning. It can be integrated into systems based on an Ajax Hub 2 alarm control panel.

If communication with the Hub is lost, ReX 2 can continue managing connected devices independently and perform certain local system responses. It is not a replacement part: it is intended both for new compatible Ajax installations and for expanding existing systems that require greater wireless coverage, particularly those using detectors with photo verification.
