Nice Door/Window-Control Sensor in Black with Temperature Measurement
The Nice Black Z-Wave Door, Window and Temperature Sensor provides access monitoring and ambient temperature measurement from a single wireless device. Its black finish allows discreet integration into dark window and door frames in homes, offices and small commercial premises.
Opening and closing are detected through the separation of the sensor and its magnet. It operates within Z-Wave systems, supports Z-Wave Plus and uses AES-128 encryption. This device is intended for new installations, expansions and smart home upgrades, rather than as a dedicated spare part.
The integrated thermometer continuously measures temperatures between 0 and 60°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. This function enables temperature-based automations to be combined with access detection, integrating the sensor into home automation installations using Nice Yubii gateways and compatible FIBARO controllers.
Powered by an included battery with an estimated two-year service life, the sensor also features tamper detection and an LED status indicator. It can be installed on doors, windows, roller shutters and garage doors to report status and temperature changes to the Z-Wave controller.
