VDS Video Changer Module Fermax 2450

Changer module required for VDS installations with 2 video door entry panels or video door entry panel plus auxiliary camera. It is not necessary in installations where one of the accesses is only audio.

The function of this device is to select the video signal from the board from where the call was made. It allows you to manage buildings with 2 video accesses and up to 199 homes. Installation can be done with 5-wire cable, UTP CAT.5 cable or 3-wire + Coaxial (Video).

The changer module can be installed on a DIN-10 rail or screwed directly to the wall inside an electrical equipment box.

What are the main features of the Fermax 2450 VDS Module?

The switcher module is required in facilities with two video accesses, i.e. installations with 2 video entry outdoor panels or video entry panel plus auxiliary camera. It is not necessary in installations where one of the accesses is audio only. Its mission is to select the video signal from the panel where the call is from.This is done by means of a signal (a negative) sent by the panel through the "S" wire connecting the panel with the switcher.
