It was founded in 1963 in Barcelona by José Clotet. The company started developing equipment to generate television and radio signals, later, it tested with analyzers to measure the quality of reception.  

Today, PROMAX is a leading company in the information and communications technology sector, providing measurement equipment to support this revolution.
