This high power magnetic contact is used to place it on a door, to know if it is closed or open. When the two pieces are in contact, there will be continuity between them, since the contact works by magnetization, indicating that the door is closed. In the case of an open door, the wires will have no contact and there will be no continuity between them.
They are suitable for extreme environments in commercial and industrial installations. This type of magnetic sensor is prepared to be installed on the floor. It is made of aluminum and comes with an armored stainless steel cable for high security installations with a length of 2 meters, allowing wide working distances.
The reed switch is encapsulated in a unique blister constructed with polyurethane components. This type of encapsulation prevents most false alarms.
The magnetic contact supports a maximum operating opening of 75mm and has magnet dimensions of 89x38x38mm. Its Grade 2 certification makes it very safe in installations, and it also complies with the EN50131 standard.
