Ajax GlassProtect Jeweller Wireless Glass Break Detector

The Ajax GlassProtect White is designed to protect windows, glass doors, display cases and shop windows using acoustic detection, without requiring a sensor to be installed directly on each pane of glass. With a detection range of up to 9 metres and a horizontal detection angle of 180°, it can monitor several glazed surfaces within the same room when correctly positioned.

Its electret microphone uses a two-factor glass break verification algorithm, analysing low and high frequencies to recognise glass breaking while helping to filter false alarms caused by certain ambient noises. This makes it particularly suitable for installers who need to protect large glazed areas efficiently with a single detector.

GlassProtect operates within the Ajax Jeweller wireless system, providing encrypted bidirectional communication with a range of up to 1,000 metres in open space. It can be paired using a QR code, configured through Ajax apps and provides up to 7 years of operation with the pre-installed battery. To build a complete security system, it can be combined with an Ajax Hub 2 alarm control panel.

Certified to EN 50131 Grade 2, this indoor glass break detector is suitable for both new installations and extensions to compatible Ajax systems and is not a replacement part. To complement acoustic glass break detection with door or window opening detection, it can be installed alongside an Ajax DoorProtect magnetic contact.
