Ajax FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/CO) Jeweller Heat and Carbon Monoxide Detector

The Ajax AJ-FIREPROTECT2-HC-AC-W is a wireless detector designed to provide early warning against two particularly dangerous risks: abnormal temperature increases and carbon monoxide (CO) accumulation. Its built-in siren provides immediate local alerts, while connection to a compatible Ajax system enables alarm monitoring and management. Heat detection is performed by two A1R-class thermistors, which trigger an alarm when the temperature exceeds +64 °C or rises by more than 10 °C within one minute. This particular model does not include an optical smoke chamber, making it especially suitable for kitchens and other areas where normal smoke or steam could cause false alarms with conventional optical smoke detectors.

Its chemical sensor monitors carbon monoxide, while Jeweller wireless technology enables communication with a compatible Ajax hub at distances of up to 1,700 metres in open space. It is particularly well suited to installers protecting homes or rooms with combustion appliances where both heat and CO detection are required in a single device. The FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/CO) Jeweller is powered directly from the 110–240 V~ mains and includes a sealed backup battery to maintain protection during a power outage.
