The Ajax WaterStop 1/2" smart shut-off valve provides automated and remote control of the water supply in homes and commercial premises. When a leak is detected, WaterStop can automatically shut off the water through a configured Ajax scenario, helping to prevent serious damage caused by leaks and flooding.

AJ-WATERSTOP-1/2-B combines an electric actuator with a RuB DN15 (1/2") shut-off valve and communicates with the Ajax system via the Jeweller wireless protocol. It can work alongside an Ajax flood detector, such as LeaksProtect, to automatically stop the water supply when flooding is detected. Under normal conditions, the valve closes 7 seconds after receiving the command.

Its straightforward installation makes Ajax WaterStop particularly suitable for installers looking to add automated flood protection without installing communication cables. The device is added to the system through the Ajax app by simply scanning its QR code. In addition to alarm-triggered operation, water shut-off can be automated according to a schedule or when arming/disarming the security system. Manual control is also available. An Ajax hub is required for operation within the Ajax system.

Designed for new installations and extensions of existing Ajax systems, rather than as a replacement part, this black WaterStop combines automatic, remote and manual water control in one device. Its pre-installed batteries provide up to 3 years of operation according to Ajax, while external 9–12 V DC, 2 A power can also be used. A practical solution for homes, shops and offices where fast action against water leaks is essential.
