Red 125 kHz RFID/EM proximity key fob with printed ID

The red 125 kHz RFID/EM proximity key fob provides contactless user identification in compatible proximity access control systems. It is suitable for automatic doors, turnstiles, barriers, time-attendance terminals and alarm systems.

It uses passive 125 kHz EM technology, so no battery is required. It features a factory-assigned unique identifier and a 10-digit decimal code printed on the body, simplifying manual enrolment and user management.

It can be used in new installations, system expansions and replacement projects. The key fob is compatible with readers and terminals that support 125 kHz RFID/EM credentials, but does not work with readers designed exclusively for 13.56 MHz MIFARE.

Practical applications of the red 125 kHz RFID/EM key fob

Example 1: Registering residents in a building with automated access

An installer can assign an RFID-TAG-RED key fob to each resident for opening an automatic door, turnstile or vehicle barrier equipped with a compatible 125 kHz EM reader. The printed decimal code allows the credential to be registered manually when supported by the management software, while also simplifying future identification, replacement or removal.

Example 2: Employee identification using a time-attendance terminal

In an office, gym or corporate building, the system administrator can assign each 125 kHz RFID/EM key fob to an employee for clocking in and out by presenting it to the terminal. It can also be used to arm or disarm an alarm system when the keypad or control panel includes a reader compatible with 125 kHz EM credentials.
