The Televes 237650 Overlight Quad Optical Receiver is designed to distribute terrestrial and satellite television over fibre optic networks and recover the original RF signals at the destination point. It forms part of the Televes Overlight fibre optic TV distribution solution, particularly suitable for collective installations where the low losses and immunity to interference provided by fibre optics are required.

This optical receiver operates with an optical input signal from 1200 to 1600 nm and restores FM/DAB radio, UHF/DTT terrestrial television and SAT satellite television signals. It features an SC/APC optical input and 4 RF outputs with female F connectors, providing the required satellite bands and polarities at each output so that the connected receiver can make the appropriate selection.

Its Quad configuration allows up to four compatible receivers to operate independently, without requiring an intermediate multiswitch after the optical receiver. This makes the Televes 237650 particularly suitable for professional installers who need to deliver DTT and SAT services to several endpoints using fibre optic TV distribution and optical receivers. It is compatible with GPON deployments and is intended for new installations, extensions or upgrades of Overlight systems; it is not a dedicated replacement part.

Thanks to its optimised electronics, low losses and robust high-shielding Zamak chassis, the receiver helps reduce the need for intermediate amplifiers and simplifies deployment in buildings with long signal distribution distances. It provides a compact and professional solution for converting the optical link back into FM/DAB/UHF/SAT signals for final distribution to user equipment.
